Lanterne Rouge
Got mine for next year
Tony Hoar, 78, won the Lanterne Rouge as the last man to finish the 1955 Tour de France
Certainly the Lanterne Rouge notoriety helped Hoar back in 1955. "I got all sorts of contracts after that race," he says. "It really caught the French imagination." He raced in Paris the day after the Tour de France, and competed in five events in seven days in Belgium.
Funny thing, though: Hoar himself had never heard of the Lanterne Rouge when he lined up for the Tour de France.
french twist for non cyclists......Titled Lanterne Rouge !!

More Crumb..and Janis
Yeah, Janis, she was my buddy—poor thing. She was a very talented, gifted singer, but she got sidetracked by fame and her life went into a disastrous tailspin. In her last days she was surrounded by sycophants and music business hustlers just full of bad advice for her. She was young and, in spite of her tough, hard drinking exterior, she was innocent. She just wanted to please the crowds, who got excited when she screamed and stomped her feet and carried on histrionically on stage. The crowd loves a good show. The drawing of her that you have here is a remake of an earlier drawing I did of her back in 1969 when she was still alive. It presents this screaming showbiz Janis as she came to present herself to the public, the Janis that sweated blood to please the crowds. But personally, I think she was a better singer years before that, when she sang old time Country music and Blues in small clubs. She was great then, a natural born country girl shouter and wailer in the good old-time way. Just my opinion.

naughty naughty Mr Contador....
Clenbuterol (clenbuterol hydrochloride) is a prescribed asthma medication which is catabolic to fat and anabolic to muscle. Clenbuterol is not a steroid hormone but a beta-2-symphatomimetic.
Clenbuterol can cause a solid, highly qualitative muscle growth which goes hand in hand with a significant strength gain. Clenbuterol also has a strong anti-catabolic effect, which means it decreases the rate at which protein is reduced in the muscle cell, consequently causing an enlargement of muscle cells. For this reason, numerous athletes use clenbuterol after steroid treatment to balance the resulting catabolic phase and thus obtain maximum strength and muscle mass. Please note, though, there are no scientific evidence these effects, that are proven in animals, also occurs in humans during the use of clenbuterol.
Clenbuterol works very effectively as a fat burner. It does this by slightly increasing the body temperature. The rise is not usually dramatic, a half of a degree, sometimes a little more but rarely more than one degree. This elevation is due to the body will burn excess energy (largely from fat) and is usually not uncomfortable.
